Why are you here? What is your purpose?Â
These are questions, so many people struggle to answer today.
Some find their identity in possessions. Some find their identity in power. Others find their identity in passions.
Where do you seek to find your purpose?Â
I want you to consider this: you exist for God. You are not your own. You were created in His image. And, you have a grand purpose to life: to reflect God’s image to all the world.Â
What a privilege!Â
Think about it: Our primary purpose for living is to glorify God and find our enjoyment in Him forever.
Psalm 73:25-26
25Â Whom have I in heaven but you?
And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.
26Â My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
1 Corinthians 10:31
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
God wants us to glorify or reflect Him in a lost and dark world.
We are called to shine the light of the gospel in these dark places. We are called to be God’s ambassador bringing reconciliation to alienated people.
A Question to Consider:
In what way, are you able to glorify God (reflect Him or display Him) today? At school? At home? At work? In your community?
