Thinking about Death – by Holly Carr

Thinking About Death

Thinking about death…..the last enemy. AND IT IS AN ENEMY. I hate even the thought of it and rightly so–it separates–body from soul, friend from friend, loved one from loved one. BUT, it joins us to the One who saved us. “To be absent from the body is to BE PRESENT WITH THE LORD.” 2 Corinthians 5:8 (All caps my accent.) If you are struggling with this fear or loss, focus on the truth. Because He lives, we can face tomorrow.
