Principles for Emotional and Relational Stability
Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved
– Philippians 4:1
So many people lack emotional and relational stability today. The lack of contentment and peace is contagious.
Saint Augustine said, “You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in you.”
In this podcast, based on Philippians 4, we will learn of principles that will help us begin to have greater stability in life.
Blessings.

Thank you Pastor James! I needed these reminders today. I have a difficult day ahead of me having to attend the unexpected wake of a friend and single mother of two girls. I will focus my mind on the Jesus I love in Phil 4. I wonder what euodia and syntyche had conflict over? I guess it doesn’t matter otherwise Paul would have shared it. The point is have unity and be reasonable gentle and humble. I’m enjoying the short direct podcasts. May Our gracious Father continue to bless your ministry?

Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement. I have just prayed for your friend’s children and family. Regarding the two women who conflicted Philippians 4, I would assume that it was not a doctrinal issue. If it were doctrinal, Paul would have focused on the person who was in the wrong. I believe it was personal and I think both were probably in the wrong. But, as you said, if the Holy Spirit wanted us to know it, He would have had Paul share it. Blessings on you and yours.
