I Can’t…Christ Can
Do you often struggle with an “I can’t” mindset?
- I can’t love
- I can’t be loved
- I can’t forgive
- I can’t believe
- I can’t be free
- I can’t be forgiven
- I can’t be accepted
- I can’t deal with them
- I can’t change
So many of these and more tend to dominate people’s thinking and beliefs daily. These limiting beliefs not only limit your potentials and possibilities; it also, more importantly, limits the power of the gospel of God’s amazing grace in your life.
It limits Christ and His cross in your life. Too many people base their relationship with God on their performance or their feelings. If a person bases their standing before God on their performance, they believe that their work contributes to God’s willingness to accept them. By doing so, they minimize and obscure Christ’s perfect life and perfect work on the cross in their life. They believe that something else needs to be added to be saved.
Others, base their standing before God on their up and down feelings. One moment, they feel loved, accepted and secured with God. But at a different moment, they feel unloved, rejected and insecure with God. What has changed? Only their feelings have changed.
In this podcast, I want you to hear and take to heart these words:
- I can’t
- Christ can
- He has
- He does
- He will
- I can only in Him.
I hope these truths will bless your heart.
Blessings.
