Do You Act Like a Child When it Comes to Your Faith?

Matthew 18:2-4 says, ” And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. “

What does it mean to have a humble and childlike faith?

To have a childlike faith is a humble faith. It is a faith that is trusting.

The humility of a child consists of childlike trust, vulnerability, and the inability to advance his or her own cause apart from the help, direction, and resources of a parent

ESV Study Bible

Trust Like a Child, Think Like an Adult

1 Corinthians 13:11 says, ” When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.”

So, we are to trust and be vulnerable like a child, but we are to think, reason, and order our lives like mature adults.
