Do you struggle with finding rest? Do you feel overwhelmed with the trials and troubles of this life? Do you feel tension and stress in your life?
Psalm 62 is a psalm of David. He was probably forced to escape during the rebellion of his son, Absalom (2 Samuel 15-18). In this psalm, David is calling out to God in prayer. David reaffirms his faith in God. He trusts God to be his rock and fortress.
Hear how David placed his hope in God. He knew that God was in control and he waited patiently for God to rescue him. He knew the true rest comes from meditating on God’s ultimate salvation of us. That’s where true hope is!
