Do you feel threatened by others? Do you find yourself under attack?
This psalms marks an occasion of a military defeat for David. The psalmist laments the situation and asks God why He seemingly has rejected His people. David was away at war in the north, and Edom invaded Judah from the south.
Where was God? Why did He allow this to happen?
Have you ever been tempted to think that God has rejected you?
Psalm 60 reminds us that God is our only help and hope. When our lives seem chaotic and confusing, He is the one in whom we should place our true confidence and trust.
