A Clear Pathway for Growth

A winding road ascending a mountain

How Lessons for Life Is Moving Forward

Growth rarely happens through information alone.

Most of us who are biblically astute already know what we should do. What we often need is help slowing down, reflecting, and learning how to live out God’s truth in real life. That conviction has shaped everything we do at Lessons for Life, and it is shaping the new rhythm we are stepping into together.

As this ministry has grown, I have spent time praying and reflecting on how to care for people well, remain sustainable, and move forward with integrity. What has emerged is not more content for content’s sake, but a clear, Scripture-centered pathway that meets people where they are and gently invites them forward.

Nothing is being taken away. Instead, we are becoming more focused and more intentional.

Why a Growth Pathway Matters

Everyone is in a different place.

Some people are looking for clarity. Others are ready for deeper practice. Some are walking through difficult seasons and need guidance and support. A single approach cannot serve everyone well.

That is why we are moving toward a Growth Pathway rather than a pressure-based system. Each stage is designed to serve you where you are right now, without forcing you into something you are not ready for.

As the Growth Pathway explains, you do not need everything at once. Each stage meets you where you are and invites you forward.

Here is a video announcement of our new weekly rhythm.

The Weekly Rhythm Going Forward

Beginning in early February, here is the steady rhythm you will see across the Lessons for Life platform.

Tuesdays: Open Teaching for Real-Life Struggles

Every Tuesday, I will release a teaching video that addresses a real-life struggle many of us face. These teachings will focus on two core questions:

  • What issue am I facing?
  • What is God’s aim for my life in this situation?

If you are familiar with my I3A approach, these teachings focus on Identifying Issues and Aligning and Aiming. They are designed to help you gain clarity around emotions, patterns, and responses, while anchoring your perspective in God’s Word.

These teachings are:

  • Open to everyone
  • Available on YouTube
  • Released on the podcast as well

This is the Practice Path, designed to provide insight, understanding, and a biblical perspective.

Thursdays (Every Other Week): Deeper Teaching for Practice

Insight is important, but transformation requires practice.

Every other Thursday, I will release a deeper teaching focused on Adapt and Apply. This is where we slow down and work through the “how” of living out biblical truth in everyday life.

These teachings are for those who want to move from understanding to intentional practice. They are available through:

This level of teaching supports those who are ready to reflect more deeply, practice intentionally, and grow with others.

Saturdays: Saturday in the Psalms

On Saturdays, we will continue a rhythm that has become deeply meaningful to many of us.

Each week, we will walk slowly through one Psalm together. These reflections are meant to:

  • Prepare our hearts for worship
  • Ground us in God’s character
  • Help us enter the week with perspective and prayer

These Psalm reflections remain open and accessible to everyone.

Understanding the Three Stages of the Growth Pathway

The Growth Pathway is built around three clear stages:

Stage 1: Insight and Direction

This is the Practice Path through YouTube. It offers biblical teaching for real-life struggles, clarity around emotional and relational patterns, and a clear aim rooted in God’s Word. It is low-pressure and open-access, making it ideal for those seeking understanding and perspective.

Stage 2: Formation and Practice

This happens in the Formation Community on Circle. Here, we focus on guided application of biblical truth, reflection prompts, shared learning, and a steady rhythm for growth. This stage is best for those ready to slow down and grow with others.

Stage 3: Shepherded Change

This is the Guided Coaching Community, also within Circle. It includes live group coaching, case-based application to real struggles, direct shepherding, and support through difficult seasons. This stage is for those who want to be known, guided, and supported in real change.

You Are Free to Engage at Your Pace

I want to be clear about something.

The free teaching is not disappearing. The open content is not going away. You are not being pushed into anything. This pathway simply provides clear on-ramps for those who want to go deeper.

If you are looking for encouragement and biblical teaching, it is here.
If you are looking for community, it is available.
And, if you are looking for coaching and support, we offer that as well.

Not everyone is at the same level, but every one of us needs encouragement and support at different times.

How to Take a Next Step (If and When You Are Ready)

If you would like to explore deeper engagement, here are two simple options:

There is no pressure. Only an invitation.

Thank You for Walking This Journey Together

I am deeply thankful for your encouragement, your prayers, and your support of this ministry. It is a joy to walk this road together and to trust what God is doing in our hearts and through our lives by His grace and for His glory.

I look forward to growing with you.
