Seven reasons to praise God on this Christmas Day

Luke 2:10-11 – ¹⁰ And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. ¹¹ For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

1. God reveals salvation to us – “and the angel said to them”
2. God reminds us not to fear – “Fear not”
   • Then, God answers our fears with a
     • Proclamation – the good news of the gospel
     • Promise – the long-awaited Savior is born
     • Person – the Savior and Lord Jesus Christ
3. God wants us to see and hear Him and His word – “for behold, I bring you good news”
4. God gives us a message of hope – “I bring you good news of great joy”
5. God gives us a message for all people – “that will be for all people”
6. God keeps His promises – “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior”
7. God gives us the greatest gift – a relationship with Himself – “For unto you…a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
