1 Peter 1:13-25 – To What Are We Born Again?
We continue our study in the book of 1 Peter. The title of the series is Grace Amid Suffering. We will learn to hope in God and trust God.
In this study from 1 Peter, we will grow in a greater trust that God will strengthen us to endure whatever trials and sufferings come our way through this life.
He has begun the book by reminding them that the triune God has been behind their salvation. Peter is praying that grace and peace be multiplied in their lives. At the beginning of the book, Peter gives them several principles regarding how to handle suffering.
Now, he begins to speak to them regarding why they have been born again.
They have been born again to be holy, to be reverential, and to be loving.
I hope this teaching will bless you.
