Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!

I love Thanksgiving. I love the tradition. And yes, I love turkey.

But honestly, I love family. We miss those of our family who are not with us.

I love my God. I am so thankful for a loving Father, a Risen Savior, and the Greatest Counselor in the Holy Spirit.

I love this holiday because it is mainly a day where we can express thanks and choose to be grateful.

In the Book of Romans chapter 1, Paul states that one of the signs of godlessness is that a person refuses to glorify God and lacks gratitude for God.

So, I encourage you, before you gobble up the meal or turn on the football game, take some time to remind yourself once again of the great gifts God has given you in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the gospel of His amazing grace, and thank Him.

We, at Lessons for Life, pray that God richly blesses you and yours this holiday.

By His grace and for His glory!
