Things Are About to Change — For You and For Me
Things are about to change, and this change has come from prayerful reflection about how to serve this community with greater depth and intention. Over the past season, I have been asking how we can care for people well, grow sustainably, and create space for meaningful spiritual growth without pressure or performance.
This ministry has never been about content for content’s sake. Real growth rarely comes from information alone. Growth happens when we slow down, reflect honestly, and intentionally practice what God is teaching us.
Why Things Are About to Change
As Lessons for Life has grown, I have spent time praying through some important questions. How do we care for people with integrity? How do we remain faithful while building something sustainable? And, how do we invite growth without pushing people beyond where they are?
Those questions have shaped a clearer pathway forward. Nothing is being taken away. Instead, we are becoming more focused, more intentional, and more relational in how we walk together.
What Is Changing and What Is Staying the Same
Beginning in early February, we will follow a new rhythm that reflects how growth actually happens.
Each Tuesday, I will continue releasing open teaching videos that address real-life struggles and God’s calling for how we live. These teachings focus on identifying the issues we face and aligning our hearts with God’s aim for our lives. This content will remain freely available on YouTube and through the podcast.
Every other Thursday, there will be an opportunity to go deeper. These teachings will focus on how we adapt and apply what we are learning, moving from insight to intentional practice. This deeper teaching is designed for those who want structure, accountability, and coaching as they grow.
On Saturdays, we will continue with Saturday in the Psalms. Each week, we will slow down and walk through one psalm together, reflecting, praying, and preparing our hearts for worship and the week ahead. This rhythm remains open to everyone.
The open teaching is not disappearing. The free resources are not going away. Things are about to change only in the sense that we are creating clearer pathways for growth at different levels.
A New Rhythm for Growth, Community, and Coaching
Not everyone is at the same place, and that is okay. Some are looking for encouragement and reflection. Others are ready for deeper community and coaching. This new rhythm allows people to engage without pressure and grow at a healthy pace.
Content helps us learn. Community helps us stay connected. Coaching helps us practice what we are learning. Each of these serves a different purpose, and all of them matter.
This pathway is simply a way to care for people well and honor the work God is doing in each life.
Moving Forward Together at a Healthy Pace
Things are about to change, but the heart of this ministry remains the same. We want to walk together with humility, faithfulness, and trust in God’s work over time.
I am deeply grateful for your prayers, encouragement, and support. I am looking forward to growing alongside you and seeing what God will do in our hearts and through our lives by His grace and for His glory.
Thank you for being here.
